Israel-based hybrid cloud security XM Cyber has acquired US-based cyber-attack detection and response for the cloud Confluera, a pioneer in next-generation cyber attack detection and response for the cloud to extend CNAPP capabilities, the company said.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

XM Cyber now offers a comprehensive CNAPP (Cloud Native Application Protection Platform) solution using its unique attack path modeling to prioritise and assess real risk to the critical assets in your cloud environment.

Together with Confluera, XM Cyber's Continuous Exposure Management platform will provide all aspects of cloud security, from identifying and fixing risk regarding cloud identities, identifying vulnerabilities and the detection and response of actual cyber attacks in real time, and best practice and compliance management.

XM Cyber transforms exposure management by demonstrating how attackers leverage and combine misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, identity exposures, and more, across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem environments to compromise critical assets.

Confluera is the provider of next-generation Cloud eXtended Detection and Response solutions.
