US First American Financial Corporation (NYSE:FAF) said Tuesday it had purchased Minnesota-located NAZCA Solutions Inc, a specialist in the aggregation of disparate property datasets, for an unrevealed price.
The move will enable First American to improve its expertise in real time accessing and assembling property-related information, including ownership, mortgage and tax data, from unrelated databases, the company said in a press release. The company will retain the NAZCA brand which will join the Database Services Group of First American.
Via the purchased technology, First American will speed up its strategy to geographically widen title plants, it added.
First American specialises in the provision of title insurance and settlement services for the real estate and mortgage sectors.
