9 March 2020 - Florida, US-based private equity firm AE Industrial Partners, LP (AEI) has acquired Vermont-based aerospace-focussed components manufacture G.S. Precision, Inc., to boost Precision's small diameter aerospace engine components and defense systems hardware business, the company said.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

G.S. Precision is a manufacturer of complex, high precision components and speciality hardware used in a variety of mission critical aerospace and defense applications.

The company utilises state of the art, proprietary manufacturing processes and technologies to deliver components with high degrees of complexity and the extremely tight tolerances required for aerospace engines and defense systems.

AE Industrial Partners specialises in Aerospace, Defense and government Services, Power Generation, and Speciality Industrial markets.
