3 March 2020 - US-based construction, engineering, maintenance, staffing and defense solutions provider Day and Zimmermann (D and Z) has acquired Pittsburgh-based mechanical contractor and construction provider Minnotte Contracting Corp. to deepen D and Z's union staffing and project management capabilities, the company said.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The transaction helps to strengthen service capabilities for existing construction and maintenance customers and allows D and Z to support the development of the country's natural gas and petrochemical infrastructure.
Day and Zimmermann has a workforce of 46,000, specialising in construction and engineering, operations and maintenance, staffing, security and defense solutions for leading corporations and governments around the world.
The company operates from more than 150 worldwide locations with USD 2.8bn in revenue.
Minnotte Contracting meets the construction and maintenance needs of heavy industrial businesses throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.
